Hannah Orenstein

Hannah Orenstein is the deputy editor of lifestyle and wellness at Bustle, where she leads coverage of a wide range of subjects: dating, relationships, sex, fitness, mental health, self-care, food, home, travel, viral culture, technology, astrology, and more. She joined Bustle in 2022.

She has a decade of experience in digital media, including roles as the deputy editor of dating at Elite Daily and the assistant features editor at Seventeen. She's written for The Cut, the Washington Post, Cosmopolitan, and Marie Claire, among others, and once had a brief stint as a matchmaker.

She's also the author of four novels: Meant to Be Mine, Head Over Heels, Love at First Like, and Playing with Matches. She writes about bold women with heart, humor, and chutzpah, exploring their love stories, careers, family, and friends. Her books have been featured on several “Best Of” lists by Vogue, O, the Oprah Magazine, Goodreads, and many more.

She studied journalism and history at NYU and is represented by Allison Hunter at Trellis Literary and Mary Pender at UTA.
